Argentina have announced their 35-man preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Head Coach Jorge Sampaoli has included the likes of Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala (both Juventus), Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan), and Sergio Aguero (Manchester City).
Meanwhile, Everton centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori is also in the group, along with wonderkid Lautaro Martinez, which must be whittled down to 23 by June 4, with the tournament starting on June 14.
A knee injury kept Aguero out of Manchester City’s last six games of the Premier League season, but it is expected he will be fully fit for the tournament.
Zenit midfielder Matias Kranevitter has missed out on a place in the 35-man group, while there is no sign of veteran Carlos Tevez.
