Burnley are in talks with Swansea over the signing of midfielder Jack Cork. It is thought the fee under discussion could rise to £10m
The former Southampton man made 30 Premier League appearances as Swansea avoided relegation last season
Jack Cork, 28, has been given permission to speak to Burnley and they want to push the deal through quickly.
Cork became a firm favourite at Swansea and it will be seen as a big coup for Burnley but they have cash to spend after selling Michael Keane to Everton.
Ex-Southampton star Cork had a loan spell early in his career at Burnley and therefore knows the club already.
Dyche wants him now to bolster his midfield and help establish themselves in the Premier League and if they can get it done then it looks to be another shrewd piece of business.
