Allegri Not Jumping To Conclusion On Juventus’ Progress

Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri says he will not know if his side has improved, until the end of the season.

The Bianconeri claimed the Coppa Italia and Serie A last season and made it to the final of the UCL. The Serie A club sold Bonucci and Alves in the window, but has brought in the likes of Howedes , Douglas Costa, Matuidi and Bernardeschi.

And while Allegri’s men have stormed to two wins in two games, he is waiting till the end of the season to talk about progress.

“The theory does not matter – [what happens] in practice is what counts,” he told a pre-match news conference ahead of facing Chievo.

“[We will know] if, at the end of the season, the team has had a good season, arriving in March still in the fight for all three competitions.”
