Chelsea and Arsenal are expected to revive their interest in Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller in January, reports the Daily Mirror.
Both Premier League clubs, along with Liverpool, are understood to have enquired about the Germany international during this summer transfer window.
Muller’s situation at Bayern was uncertain at the start of the summer after an under-whelming Bundesliga campaign last season.
However Bayern, just as they did when Manchester United lodged an interest in Muller, were unwilling to sell.
Thomas Muller has often found himself our of Carlo Ancelotti’s first-choice starting XI, with Thiago Alcantara preferred in the role behind Robert Lewandowski.
Muller was only a substitute in Bayern’s last Bundesliga match – playing the last 17 minutes against Werder Bremen – and has completed 90 minutes in only one of their four games so far this term.
Muller remains under contract to Bayern until the summer of 2021. He has scored 161 goals in 399 games for the Bavarians’ senior side.
