Dele Alli will become one of Tottenham’s top earners after the player opened talks with the club over a pay rise.
Despite only agreeing to new terms last year, Spurs want to ensure their star midfielder is happy and are willing to pay more than £100,000 a week to keep the player tied to the club for the longer term, the paper says.
The rise would put him in line with team-mates Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.
Since breaking into the first team, Dele has had two contract extensions and is widely reported to be on £50,000-a-week.
But with Europe’s elite clubs monitoring him, a new deal will make sure he is settled as the North London side move into their new stadium.
Dele Alli is also understood to be considering a change of agent from Impact Sports Management, who negotiated his last contract.
