Italy

Gianluigi Donnarumma could leave AC Milan as soon as January, but a summer sale is more likely. The 18-year-old goalkeeper and his agent Mino Raiola were no longer happy with the contract signed last summer and are looking to annul it based on the idea he had been psychologically pressured into signing it.

Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain would be the most likely destination for Donnarumma should he leave, and if there’s a complete breakdown in relations, a January deal could be on the cards. There is no release clause in his AC Milan contract and he would cost at least €40m (£35m). (La Gazzetta dello Sport)

Sime Vrsaljko has agreed to join Napoli, with the Atletico Madrid defender keen on a return to Italy after previously playing for Sassuolo and Genoa. The Serie A side are yet to agree a fee with the Spanish club. They have offered €25m (£22m) but, with the right-back also a Monaco and Liverpool transfer target, they fear the price could be pushed up. (Corriere dello Sport)

Spain

Barcelona have lined up three options for January. Their first choice remains Philippe Coutinho, but if a move for the Liverpool attacker falls through, they will either move for Gremio’s Arthur or Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil. (Sport)

Paris Saint-Germain want Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak when the transfer window opens. They are willing to throw in Javier Pastore as part of any deal for the goalkeeper to try and tempt the La Liga side into selling. (AS)

Villarreal could recall Alfonso Pedraza from his loan at Alaves to sell him for his €20m (£17.6m). The 21-year-old, who can play either left-back or winger and spent the second half of last season on loan at Leeds United, is attracting interest from Premier League clubs and is also a Barcelona transfer target. Germany

Everton transfer target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is unlikely to leave Borussia Dortmund in January. The club are more interested in buying than selling, with Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt and Basel’s Manuel Akanji on their radar. (SportBild)

Jupp Heynckes has urged the Bayern Munich hierarchy to extend goalkeeper Sven Ulreich’s contract. The 29-year-old has featured for the Bavarian giants a lot more than usual this season due to Manuel Neuer’s injury, and his contract is up in the summer. Heynckes backed Ulreich, claiming he did not need another goalkeeper in January, saying: “I’d recommend Bayern to start talks as soon as possible about extending the contract. A goalkeeper won’t be coming in during the winter transfer window. I don’t think that’s necessary.” (Bild)

Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn believes a European super league is inevitable. He said: “Sooner or later, the best European teams will probably play in a league.” (SportBild)

France

Paris Saint-Germain want to bring in Fluminense holding midfielder Wendel. His agent, Carlos Henrique Brasil, says an agreement was agreed between the 20-year-old and PSG in early November. The Brazilian would cost €10m(£8.8m), which normally wouldn’t be a problem for the Ligue 1 leaders, but may cause some issues under financial fair play after their big spending last summer. After going to Brazil because of a ‘family problem’ regarding his sister Rafaella, Neymar should return to PSG today. (L’Equipe)

Lille have been handed a transfer ban for flouting regulations, while PSG have not been punished for their heavy spending. (L’Equipe)
