Marseille are reportedly keen to sign West Brom youngster Tyler Roberts.
The 18-year-old striker is out of contract at the end of the season and has scored five goals on loan at Walsall.
According to the Daily Mirror, West Brom are keen to tie Tyler Roberts down to a new deal, but Marseille and several Championship clubs are interested.
Tyler Roberts has hit five league goals in 17 appearances for the Saddlers to send the scouts rushing to the Bescot Stadium.
The Baggies are monitoring the forward’s progress at their West Midland neighbours and are desperate to convince Roberts his future is at the Hawthorns.
And if the youngster walks away, the Premier League side will face the prospect of losing him with a training compensation fee decided at a tribunal.
Marseille are keen to take him next summer and if Roberts opts for France, the Ligue 1 side could bag him for a mere compensation fee of around £280,000.
Roberts made his first team debut for Albion in 2016, coming on as a substitute against Liverpool. The Wales U21 international has since had spells out on loan at Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town.
