Comic-Con Buzz: Watch First ‘Ready Player One,’ New ‘Justice League’ Trailers; Plus ‘Blade Runner 2049’ and ‘Aquaman’

Ready Player One

Warner Bros. has been revitalizing itself this year with fan-favorite titles like The Lego Batman Movie, Kong: Skull Island and Wonder Woman. What does the studio have in store for the future? We found out at their Comic-Con panel today.

Ready Player One

Ernest Cline’s science-fiction novel, suffused with pop culture references, became an instant sensation when it was published in 2011. Screen rights were sold even before the book was published, so to call the movie adaptation highly-anticipated is an accurate description.

In San Diego, director Steven Spielberg took the stage first.

Remember that one-shot action scene from “Tintin”? “Ready Player One” looks like that with human flesh plus 80s. I think I liked “Tintin.”

I love seeing the iconic movie vehicles and characters in Ready Player One, but thing I most dig about it is the AI/Minority Report look.

A motion title treatment was also revealed.
